Worth the wait.
Freshly poured candles need about 3 hours to cool and set, so yours will not leave with you that night. Stop back by the studio to pick it up, or have it shipped to your door for $15.

What exactly is this event?
A candle making evening for women who want to make new friends. You choose a vessel, blend your own fragrance, and pour your candle at a candle making studio, seated with women we matched you with based on your form.
How much is a seat?
A guest seat is $65. Founding Members reserve the same seat with 10 of their 20 monthly credits plus $25, leaving the other 10 credits free for dinners and socials. See the Founding Membership.
I've never made a candle. Is that a problem?
Not at all. A candle expert walks the whole table through every step. Half the fun is discovering what you like together.
Can I come alone?
Please do. Most of our guests come solo. You are matched before you arrive, so there is always a seat, and a conversation, waiting for you.
How does the matchmaking work?
You complete a short form at checkout about your interests, your social energy, your favorite scents, and what you are looking for. We use it to place you with women you are likely to click with. Scan the QR code when you arrive and your table is revealed.
Where is this happening?
At a pour your own candle studio. The address is sent to you as soon as your seat is reserved.
Is wine included?
Yes. Wine and non alcoholic options are provided by A Party of Eight throughout the evening and included in your seat.
I'm sensitive to certain fragrances. What should I do?
Tell us on the matchmaking form at checkout. We will pass it along so your table is set with that in mind.
When can I take my candle home?
Candles need about 3 hours to cool and set after the pour. You can return to the studio to pick yours up, or have it shipped for $15.
What if I'm running late?
Doors open at 6:45 PM and we begin right at 7:00 PM. The pour happens as a table, so arriving on time means you won't miss your blend.
What if I can't make it?
