These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the A Party of Eight website and your participation in events organized by A Party of Eight. By accessing this website and registering for any event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Registrations and Reservations

1. Registration Period

Event registration opens every other Monday for dinners scheduled the following week and closes Monday at 11:59 PM. All reservations must be made through the official A Party of Eight platform. Registrations submitted through any alternative method are invalid and not eligible for refund or credit.

2. Group Placement

A Party of Eight may adjust groupings as needed to support event logistics and the guest experience. Group assignments may change up to the day before the event. Placement with specific individuals or friends is not guaranteed. Tables may also be merged or adjusted when necessary.

Dinners


1. Event Details

Dinners take place on scheduled dates at partner restaurants. Location details are emailed to guests ahead of the event. Guests are responsible for their own food, beverage, and gratuity charges. The reservation fee covers the curated experience only and does not apply to restaurant costs. A Party of Eight is not responsible for restaurant billing disputes.

2. Liability Disclaimer

A Party of Eight is not responsible for food quality, restaurant service, restaurant operations, or any incidents that occur on restaurant premises. Guests must settle their own restaurant bills in full.

3. Ticket Policy
All ticket purchases are final. No refunds are issued.

4. Rescheduling Policy

Guests may reschedule their reservation up to 7 days before the scheduled dinner, subject to availability. Requests made less than 7 days before the event are not accepted and will be treated as a cancellation.

5. Timeliness

Guests are responsible for arriving on time. Seats may not be held for late arrivals. Partial attendance, late arrival, or early departure does not alter the cancellation or no show fees.

Cancellations and No Shows 

1. Cancellation Fee

If a guest cancels their reservation at any time, a $20 cancellation fee will be automatically charged to the card on file. Repeated instances of cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on future attendance.

2. No Show Fee

If a guest does not attend their dinner for any reason, including failing to notify A Party of Eight, a $35 no show fee will be automatically charged. Notification does not waive the no show fee unless the reservation is rescheduled at least 7 days before the event.

3. Payment Authorization

By booking a reservation, guests authorize A Party of Eight to automatically charge the payment method on file for all applicable fees, including cancellation and no show fees, without additional notice or consent.

4. Payment Method Requirement

Guests must maintain a valid payment method on file. If payment fails, guests must update their payment information within 48 hours. Unpaid fees may result in suspended access to future events.

5. Repeated Offenses
Repeated cancellations or no shows may result in restricted or revoked access to future events.

6. Non-Transferability

Reservations are non-transferable. Substitute attendees are not permitted unless approved in writing by A Party of Eight.

Community Guidelines

A Party of Eight is committed to creating a welcoming environment for women seeking meaningful connection. Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow attendees, restaurant staff, and hosts. Any behavior that is disrespectful, inappropriate, or disruptive may result in removal from the event without refund and may restrict future attendance.

Code of Conduct

Guests must uphold a standard of respect and courtesy at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or conduct that creates an uncomfortable environment will result in removal from the event. Hosts may take any action necessary to support guest comfort and safety, including adjusting seating or removing guests.

Group Messaging

A Party of Eight uses private messaging platforms, such as GroupMe, to help guests connect before and after events. Participation is optional. Guests must behave respectfully within these chats. Guests may not share personal information from the chats, take screenshots, or use chat content outside the event. A Party of Eight is not responsible for outages, delays, or technical issues from third party platforms. Chats may be moderated, limited, or closed at host discretion.

Event Photography

By attending an A Party of Eight event, guests grant A Party of Eight the right to photograph and record the event for marketing and promotional use across digital and print platforms. Guests who prefer not to be photographed must notify the host before the dinner begins.

Changes to Events

A Party of Eight may reschedule or relocate events due to weather, restaurant issues, or other circumstances. If a restaurant becomes unavailable on the day of the event, we may relocate the dinner or issue a credit for a future experience. Refunds will not be issued for weather related cancellations.

Refunds and Exceptions

There are no refunds for any ticket purchase. In the rare event that A Party of Eight cancels an event for reasons unrelated to weather or restaurant availability, guests may choose between a full refund or a rescheduled date.

Force Majeure

A Party of Eight is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, pandemics, or unforeseen emergencies.

Privacy and Data Use

A Party of Eight may collect, store, and process guest information for purposes including, but not limited to, event communication, reservation management, operational administration, service improvement, internal analytics, and partnership development. A Party of Eight may share or sell guest information to trusted partners, service providers, or affiliates when such sharing is reasonably necessary to support event operations, marketing, strategic partnerships, or the development and enhancement of services. A Party of Eight does not authorize the use of guest information by unrelated third parties for independent or unrelated marketing purposes. By registering, guests consent to receive event related emails and text messages. All data handling practices comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Third Party Links

A Party of Eight may share links to third party websites or services. We do not control or endorse these websites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Age Requirement

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend A Party of Eight events. By registering, you affirm that you meet this age requirement.

Dispute Resolution

Guests agree to first attempt informal resolution of any dispute by contacting Howdy@apartyof8.com. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration following mutually agreed upon rules.

Indemnification

Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless A Party of Eight, its owners, employees, hosts, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from event attendance or participation.

Modification of Terms

A Party of Eight may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal claims fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Texas courts.
