One year ago, A Party of Eight began with a simple question: what if making friends as an adult could feel easy again?
At that first table, eight women who started as strangers left as something more, connections that felt familiar, friendships in the making. It was proof that when you create the right space, women are ready to show up for one another.
Twelve months later, that single table has grown into a movement. Dozens of dinners. Hundreds of women. Countless conversations that have turned isolation into belonging.
Where It All Began
Making friends as an adult isn’t easy. Between careers, routines, and responsibilities, genuine opportunities to connect can feel scarce. Add in remote work and the noise of social media, and many of us are left craving something more real.
Loneliness has been called an epidemic, and we’ve seen firsthand how deeply women are searching for spaces that feel authentic. A Party of Eight was created as an answer: curated dinners where connection is simple, approachable, and lasting.

In just twelve months, we’ve:

Welcomed more than 1000 women to the table.

Donated meals to local organizations, because every seat purchased also feeds someone in need.
